Chad Michael Murray wrote an episode in season six, Moira Kelly, Bethany Joy Galeotti, James Lafferty, and Sophia Bush have also directed a couple, and Paul Johansson has directed quite a few. Talk about getting to flap your creative wings! It's a known fact that Mark Schwahn and Joe Davola, unlike many television producers, have allowed their actors to really get involved with the show behind the scenes.
The next in line? Austin Nichols! The actor
tweeted about his first time directing today. Three seasons in and Austin will already step behind the camera to direct one of the remaining seven episodes of season eight. We're excited to see which one it will be!
